Robert Thomas Shuman, 58, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away December 8, 2018. He was born September 7, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky, and is survived by his brother: Thomas (Lori) Shuman; sisters: Lisa Haegle, Linda (Rick) Mosley, Robin (Jay) Wheat; and nieces/nephews: Dorothy Newport, Mikel Webb, David Webb, Edward Rockenstyre, William Rockenstyre, Lindsay Wheat, and Breanna Shuman. He is predeceased by his father Calvin Shuman, mother Mary Phillips, and step-father Martin Phillips Sr.
Although he lived a quiet life, Robert loved and valued his family, step-family, and friends. He will be especially missed by his best friend, Kayla Rogers. She was a loyal friend and Robert was very proud of her daughter. Robert loved football, especially the FL Gators and Jaguars; he enjoyed cheering on Dale Earnhardt and Mark Martin when watching NASCAR, as well as listening to music and watching movies. He spent his time helping friends and family with yard work and took great pride in landscaping.
A visitation will be held at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd Middleburg, FL 32068 at 10am Saturday, December 15, 2018 with funeral services officiated by Pastor, Rick Crews at 11am and committal service to follow.
