Aunt “Cookie” you will be dearly missed!! I loved you so very much. Not a day will go by that I don’t remember your love for children... your smiles and laughs... you and granny always together! You were a special person to me... and ALWAYS will be. I wish I would’ve gotten to see you one last time. That will lay heavy on my heart. I love you!!!

Teresa (Aunt Cookie) was an amazing woman. She was good hearted and always brought a smile to your face. Well...most of the time. There was a time when we both worked at the same restaurant and she dated a man that worked there as well. One night myself and her boyfriend at the time worked late and he was supposed to have gone straight back to her house. I’m not sure where he went. I went out with my friends. Well Aunt Cookie thought that we both went out together and had a great time without her. The next morning I get a call that I need to come pick up my things from her house. I had no idea what was going on. Got to her house and there were two trash bags full of clothes. I started digging into the bags and found out that one bags had my clothes in them and the other had his...all cut up into little rags. She came to the door and told me that it would be the last time that we went and had fun without her and I could take my things and go. I asked her why she cut up his things and she told me “ well don’t you worry about that. Just be glad your family”. And she went back inside. So in the end I still had a smile. I love you Aunt Cookie and will miss you forever.

My sister, so strong and resilient. She was like an ever ready battery!
Full of energy and life. She enjoyed work as a waitress for over twenty years and was a dang good one! I will miss her every day.

My sister and my friend. I will miss your smiling face and your little booty shakes!
I will remember all the times we shopped together, had girl talk and lunches together, always involving laughter.
Her favorite places for lunch included Zaxbys, Captain D's and Five Guys.
Teresa enjoyed working in her yard planting flowers and trees and because of her green thumb everything she planted thrived!
She took loving care of our mother for years and helped raise two of her grandsons.
Teresa loved life and was grateful for every minute she lived it.
I miss her already!
