Timothy John Wierzchowski, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and proud United States Marine, lived a life defined by service, faith, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his family. Born on August 13, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of Robert Wierzchowski and Shirley Dereszynski. Surrounded by his loving family, Timothy entered eternal rest on December 14, 2025, leaving behind a lasting legacy that will be carried forward for generations.
Timothy honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for more than 20 years, retiring after a distinguished career marked by dedication, resilience, and leadership. During his service, he traveled extensively, visiting 32 countries in five years—experiences that broadened his worldview and deepened his appreciation for people and cultures across the globe. Among his many memorable experiences, Timothy met Clint Eastwood on the set of Heartbreak Ridge, where his role was to ensure the Marine Corps uniform worn by Eastwood was “dress right, dress.” Following his military retirement, Timothy continued his professional life as a Human Resources Manager for Total Cleaning Services of Wisconsin, from which he also retired.
A man of great character and an exceptional judge of character, Timothy lived his life with purpose and principle. He was a devoted family man who took great pride in teaching his children self-sufficiency, craftsmanship, and integrity. Eclectic by nature, he found joy in many pursuits, including golf, poker, bowling, baseball, gardening, cooking, baking, travel, and music—especially The Eagles, Tom Petty, and Pink Floyd. He loved serenading his wife with song and treasured Friday night “Family Feud” date nights with his beloved wife, Elizabeth. He enjoyed movies and television, particularly Law & Order and M.A.S.H., and was a lifelong sports enthusiast and devoted Green Bay Packers fan.
A man of steadfast faith, Timothy read the Bible in its entirety on three occasions. In 2015, he relocated to Florida, where he continued to live with resilience, warmth, and deep devotion to his family.
Timothy is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Elizabeth Jane Wierzchowski; his mother, Shirley Dereszynski; and his children, Melynda Bosch (Neil), Sarah Krause (Jason), Robert Wierzchowski (Melissa), Kristina Kobierecki (Andy), Eric Wierzchowski, and David Harris. He is also lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is further survived by his siblings, Kevin Wierzchowski, Kim Wierzchowski (Michelle), and Todd Wierzchowski.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wierzchowski; his son, Archie Harris; his grandson, Christian Wierzchowski; his sister, Karie Baewer; his father-in-law, David Lee Sr.; his mother-in-law, Mary (Burdey) Schwager; his brother-in-law, Joel Baewer; and his sisters-in-law, Tina Wierzchowski and Darlene Wierzchowski.
He also leaves behind a host of loving extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held on December 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, located at 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068.
