Vina Lou Parkerson

Vina Lou Parkerson, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born in Hiawassee, Georgia on October 30, 1927. Vina was married to Bentley B. Parkerson on July 24, 1952. She loved to spend her time gardening or sewing, and she enjoyed bird watching. Vina is dearly loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.

Vina is survived by her husband, Bentley B. Parkerson, her son, Mike Parkerson, her daughter, Melissa Sponel, her granddaughter, Laura Gordon, and her grandson, Joseph Sponel. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Emma Gordon and Caitlyn Gordon, and her brother, Troy Rhinehardt. Vina was predeceased by her granddaughter, Stacey Parkerson, and her grandson-in-law, Shawn Gordon.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Monday, August 12, 2019 at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068, with the family receiving friends and family at 10:00am. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
