Walter Arnold Olliff

Walter Arnold Olliff, 78 of Middleburg, Florida passed away on June 16th, 2025 at his home. Born October 1st, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida son of the late Roscoe and Florence Olliff. Married the love of his life, the late Lona Olliff on August 31st, 1968. They shared 46 years together in marriage. Retired from JEA after 30 years in 2003. He enjoyed spending time with family, had a love for cats and dogs, loved his seafood & chicken and liked watching football, GO GATORS! In his "prime years" he also enjoyed fishing even though Grandma would out fish him.

Walter is survived by his children; Robert Lancaster of Middleburg, FL, Kathy Hightower (Wayne "Seymour") of Keystone Heights, FL, Janet LeRoux (Chris) of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Dennis), James Hickox (Jenny), Alisha Mooneyhan (Glen), Travis Maryon, Troy Lancaster, Christina Lancaster, Richard Davey (Kelly), Samie Jo Dinges (Troy), Stephen Honeycutt (Katelyn), Lindsey Tripp (Micah), Austin Petros, Wayne Lancaster (Stephani), Darlene Forrest (Richard) and Jared Beckham (Samantha). Numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grands.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lona Olliff, parents Roscoe and Florence Olliff; brother, Raymond Olliff; daughters, Peggy Jean Flowers and Linda Malinofski.

A visitation for Walter will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. A committal service will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
