William Joseph Lilly, age 69, passed on July 19, 2021 with his family by his side in Middleburg, FL. William (Bill) was born Feb 18, 1952, in Daytona Beach, FL. He was a family man and loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He also lived an honorable life of service to his country and retired from the Navy after 20 years of active service, then later retired from the United States Postal Service after 15 years. His Navy career took him on many adventures throughout the globe where he met his wife, Belen, while stationed in the Philippines. Bill also has an AS degree in Industrial Management Technology from FCCJ.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Belen Lilly; 3 children Annalee Bowser, Richard Lilly (and spouse), William Lilly; 6 grandchildren Trey, Tyler, Kaiya, Ashton, Isla, Elijah; and 4 siblings Dean, Margaret, Mike, and Dewey. He is predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Juanita Lilly; and 5 siblings Eddie, John, Loretta, Tab, and Leroy.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 31st from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home at 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL 32068 followed by a private service and gathering at his family’s home.
