

He was born on June 13, 1944, in Atlantic City, NJ. Alan was adopted by Dallas Ellsworth Frazer and Margaret Connington Frazer
He was a Vietnam veteran having served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator from June 30, 1967, until his honorable discharge with the rank of Captain on May 29, 1972. He received the Vietnam Service Medal.
Mr. Frazer worked as a car salesman all over Charlotte, but primarily at Rick Hendricks City Chevrolet.
He was an active member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church, North Campus, in Concord, NC. He was especially active in Iron Men who did mission and charitable work in the Charlotte area. He also loved fishing and competed in local fishing tournaments.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Jennifer Frazer, of Charlotte, and one brother, Glenn Frazer, of Philadelphia, PA.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, April 21, 2011, from 1-2 pm at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church (North Campus), 2350 Odell School Rd., Charlotte, NC 28262-1008, (704) 547-9906. His memorial service will immediately follow at 2 pm. The Reverend Dr. Tod Tanner will officiate.
