Bill Brown Dulin

He was born on July 20, 1926 in Mint Hill, NC to Frank and Burl Dulin.

Bill founded Made-Rite Upholstery in 1962 and was the owner for over 40 years. He was a perfectionist in all that he did, making sure that everything was done “rite” the first time. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his farm, keeping an immaculate garden, being with his animals and most of all he loved his family.

Mr. Dulin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Dulin; children, Pat (Jimmy) Carpenter, Gary (Pam) Dulin, and Karen (Paul, Sr.) Shaver; grandchildren, Anne, Greg, Tina, Scott, Bill, Stacy, Gary, Jr., Jarret and Paul, Jr.; nine great grandchildren; and his sisters, Mary Frances and Elizabeth.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Billie Ann Lefler; sisters, Evelyn, Dorothy, Lois, Betty and Josephine; brothers, Sam and John.

A funeral service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 26th of January, 2016 Mint Hill Baptist Church, 7835 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227 with Pastor Lee Proctor officiating. A visitation will be held from eleven thirty in the morning until the time of the service. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
