Brenda graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and worked for Erwin Corporation for many years. During that time, she met her husband, Edward Harrell. They were married for more than 20 years and enjoyed road trips to Tennessee and camping. Brenda was an avid animal lover and could always be seen looking out her window at rabbits, birds, and squirrels. She loved her favorite cat, Petro.
An artist skilled in the pen and ink technique, she received many commissions for her drawings of historic homes and buildings in the Matthews area.
Brenda is survived by her son, David Harrell; her grandchildren, Tyler Harrell & Connor Harrell and their beloved mother, Alison Brooks England; her sister, Christy Martin; her brother, Darren Martin (Carol); and many loving nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC.
