

Dennis owned Carolina Ceramics Dental Lab in Albemarle, North Carolina for more than 30 years. He also worked for Dignity Memorial Funeral Services, and alongside his beloved wife in ASEA.
A member of First Baptist Church Indian Trail, Dennis was a gentle, hardworking, and selfless “renaissance” man. He enjoyed Elvis, animals, playing bubbles with his grandchildren, and working with his friends at the funeral home. His love and devotion for his family was immeasurable. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Rebecca (Becky) Dixon of Mint Hill, North Carolina; his daughters, Ashley (Brandon) Burgess of Marshville, North Carolina and Meredith (Brian) Minor of Monroe, North Carolina; his parents, Carlton “Duke” and Jean Dixon of Elm City, North Carolina; brother, David (Cathy) Dixon of Elm City, North Carolina; five beloved grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 until 9:00 pm Tuesday, June 14, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel. A memorial service to celebrate Dennis’ life will held 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 15, at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road in Indian Trail. His son-in-law, The Rev. Brian Minor will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Butterfly House, 301 Yadkin Street, Albemarle, North Carolina 28001, or to First Baptist Church Indian Trail-Missions, 2034 Van Buren Avenue, Indian Trail, North Carolina 28079.
