There are so many memories I will hold dear, just as so many will. I was blessed to have him in my life for over 40 yrs. and will miss that loving and wonderful sense of humor.  He always had a quick come back, and that laugh...what an amazing man. If I have to share one, it will be that he took the time and made a trip to the coast to visit my mom in her final couple of days. She loved him so much and he always made her laugh.  Buster had the last conversation with her and they picked with each other and he ended it with a joke making her laugh. She closed her eyes as they said goodbye, never to open them again and with a smile on her face.  I still smile today holding that memory. I always held that memory dear, but now I hold it more tightly than I did. My mom was 93 and I know she was there waiting to walk with him.  My heart aches, but smiles too.  Love you Buster, truely one of a kind♥️

Jackie,  I did not learn of your brother’s passing until Monday evening.  Though I did not know him personally,  i witnessed your love and affection for him throughout his brief illness. Though I will be unable to attend the service,  know that my thoughts and prayers are with you throughout this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Wilson family during this difficult time and even though it has been many years since I have lived in Mint Hill I considered Buster my friend who would give me the shirt off of his back if I asked him.God bless you Buster you will be missed but never forgotten.

Buster, loved that ole guy. Of course I wouldn't tell him that, he'd call me a puddin or worse. Men just don't do that ya know. I knew Buster for probably 30 years. He was my work buddy. He loved his Grand sons, he loved his son and daughter in law, and he loved his wife. He loved his whole family because I heard the stories that he would tell me about them. About his Grand sons playing ball, about his son working on cars and fishing and so on, about his wife whom he'd brag about every chance he could. I'm gonna miss that fellow and those conversations. By the way, I enjoyed the pictures that the family put together. Brought on a chuckle and a few tears. My sincere condolences to the family.

Whenever I visited Wilson Grove Baptist Church, Buster was one person I looked forward to seeing, every time. It breaks my heart that he’s gone. His was truly a life well lived and I rejoice in knowing we will meet again in Heaven!

I’m still in disbelief, as I’m sure Buster’s family and the rest of his friends are. Never has there been a better gentleman. My heart goes out to Leigh and all of Buster’s family. 
I’ll never forget the taste of his banana pudding. 
We’ll see you soon Buster. You’ll be missed!

I am so sorry to hear of Karls passing. I remember him growing up. He was such a likable
friend to everyone. He loved to make people smile.He was always the live of the family gatherings we had.
I will truly miss him and his loving ways. May God be with the family in these times.
