Kevin Jenkins

Dwight Kevin Jenkins, age 54 years young of Matthews, NC is now free from hurt and pain after losing his battle to cancer on the evening of Wednesday December 6,2017. Kevin was born in Charlotte,Nc to Dwight H Jenkins and Doris Camp. He lived his whole life being selfless and trying to make sure everyone around him was taken care of. He had many passions, but the one that you could tell brought him the most joy was jumping on his Harley and riding off. As Dad would always say "I'm not done playing yet", and he may not be here, but he will always be in our hearts. Kevin will be forever remembered by his two daughters Amanda Johnson and Nicole Conn, and their mother Susan Jenkins, his 4 and soon to be 5th grandchild his two brothers Jason Jenkins and Michael Coats, and his Father Dwight H Jenkins. We want to say a special thank you to Tanya Boyce, his girlfriend and close friends for the love and care they gave our dad during his battle with cancer.

A visitation with the family will be held at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service in Sharon Memorial Park.
