Rasheem John Wright

He was educated in the New York City public school system. He furthered his education by Job Corps as a certified mason. He loved working in New York City hospitals in their maintenance departments. He later switched career fields to become an armed guard. He loved playing spades and prided himself on being the best of all spade players. He worked hard and partied even harder.

Rasheem moved to Charlotte, North Carolina with his family in 2010. He furthered his career in security until the day of his passing. He was blessed with many children who loved him dearly. His presence and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rasheem is survived by his wife, Evuniqua Staggers-Wright; his children, Kailin Wright, Quayvon Staggers, Jania Wright, Dominique Wright, and Rasheem Wright Jr.; his mother, Delores Wright; his brother, Johnnie Wright, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel.
