A native of Waynesville, North Carolina, Polly was the daughter of the late Henry and Willie Francis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Jack Francis Hogan, and siblings, James, Bob and Pink Francis and Bess Zulch.
She is survived by daughters, Sylvia Shore (Frank) of Ft. Myers, Florida and Sara Starnes of Charlotte, North Carolina; granddaughters, Kristy Morris (Kevin) and Jennifer Shore; and great-granddaughter, Morgan Edwards.
Polly will be laid to rest with Jack in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
