Basya-Bella Shmorgoner came into this world December 20th 1938 in Ukraine. During war torn times Basya, along with her family fled to safer grounds. Not alone, one of seven brothers and sisters paving the way for their futures independence.
In the 60s she meet a gentleman in the Russian army named Marik. They started a family and had a daughter named Irene. With this new gift from god, they decided they had to risk everything to live the American dream.
Successfully they accomplished this feat, as it was no easy task. Basya made a new life and raised a family. Using a strength that didn’t compare to weight. The strength to shape lives. She did everything for her family as most would. She made the best food and took photos or made people take them for her. Documenting every memory to be had.
She is survived by a life of memories. She is survived by her daughter Irene, her son in law Aaron, her grandsons Zavory and Devon, along with the small family she has remaining.
Basya Shmorgoner was the definition of humility. She would give you anything because she prepared for everything. She will continue to give us lessons of love and compassion. To treat others right and to do the most for yourself like she did.
She would always make you laugh. Never without something with wisdom to teach you a lesson. Lessons we all will take from you forever baba.
We will all miss you and we will never forget you. Thank you for the time of our lives. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being the sweetest and most caring person ever. We love you so much.
Rest sweetly baba
P.s. Now that you aren’t in pain anymore, don’t forget to dance in heaven. You are the star now.
