

Bernard L. "Bud" Cohn of Studio City, California, passed away peacefully at his home on July 3, 2015 (16 Tammuz 5775). Services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 10 am, in the Eternal Light Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will conclude graveside in Eden Memorial Park. Mr. Cohn was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to Maurice and Lillian Cohn. He graduated from Ohio State University, and was a member and president of the ZBT fraternity. He moved California in 1959 working in the paint and coatings industry for over 55 years. He was the founder and owner of Catalina Paints. He is survived by his wife, of over 50 years, Jacqueline; sons, John (Matheus) Cohn, David (Greta) Cohn; grandchildren, Riley and Caris Cohn; sister, Marian (Richard) May; nieces and nephews, Kathy May Wittman, Larry May, Patty May Linsey, Susan Lieberman, Lori Lieberman Cali, and Kim Lieberman McCarty. He is preceded in passing by his sister, Irene Karney (Of Blessed Memory), in 2013.
Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and best friend to many. Words cannot express what a gentle and kind heart he had. He cared more than most and always took the time with everyone. He will be greatly missed.
