

Dawnelle “Dawn” Malick passed away on December 27, 2025, after a battle with cancer. She was born on June 6, 1964, to the late Edward and Jane White in Los Angeles, California. Dawn grew up as an only child and attended The Buckley School before continuing on her education at UCLA.
Dawn was thoughtful, dependable, and organized, qualities that served her well in her role as an executive assistant at Colombia Studios. Friendship meant the world to Dawn. She had been best friends with Helen Ramos since they were four years old, a rare and lifelong bond filled with love and shared memories. Additionally, forty years ago, she met the love of her life, Peter Malick, and the two were married on November 4, 2004. Together they built a life rooted in love, humor, and devotion to their family. Peter will remember her as the sweetest soul, his true soulmate.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; her son, Noah; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Felice & Doug Williams, her nieces and nephews, Jessica & Brian Merritt, Rachel & Michael Younesi, and Molly & Nick Andrews, her great-nieces and -nephews, Luca, Sonya, Daisy, and Sidney, her mother-in-law Batya Malick, long time friend Helen (Michael) Ramos; beloved dogs, Little Doggy Boy and Wednesday; along with many family members and dear friends who will miss her more than words can say.
Dawn will be remembered for her quiet strength, her kindness, and the love she shared throughout her life. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10 am in the Groman Eden Chapel (11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345). Rabbi Woznica to officiate.
