Edward Firestone

Edward Firestone of Sherman Oaks, California, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 (14 Tishri 5776), at 94. Services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 2 pm, in the Groman Eden Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Barry Lutz, and will conclude graveside, in Eden Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ed's memory to the Charity of Your Choice. The United States Army Honor Guard will be performing Honors at graveside.

Mr. Firestone is an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Army, WWII. He is preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Esther Firestone, Of Blessed Memory. Their 75th wedding anniversary is on November 20, 2016. Mr. Firestone is also preceded in passing by his siblings, Herman Firestone, Of Blessed Memory, and Sydell Firestone, Of Blessed Memory. Mr. Firestone is survived by his children, Laurie Zaifert, Dr. Robert (Mary) Firestone, Lynn (Ken) Miles, and Barbara (Doug) Myers; his grandchildren, Suzanne (Aaron) Robins, Stacy Zaifert, Eric (Holly) Firestone, Danielle Firestone, Amy Myers, Andrew Myers, Alison Miles, and Nicole Miles; and his great-grandson, Samuel Robins.
