Howard J. Saks died peacefully at his home in Los Angeles with his wife, Barbara, at his side. His life was a life well lived and loved. He enjoyed and took great pride in a successful 50-year career as a life insurance agent and estate planner, first in Manhattan and later in LA. His curiosity led him to become a world traveler and senior scholar. All of these passions were passed down to his children and grandchildren. We can't forget his love for signing and performing, and Syracuse University. Howard will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Barbara; sons, Michael (Ann) Saks and Mark (Donna) Saks; his daughters, Donna (Scott) Rheingold, Gayle (Ricardo Rodriguez) Saks, Valerie (Jeff Goldstein) Sanns, and Leslie (Wayne) Rice. He's also survived by his devoted grandchildren, Carrie, Brian, Ryan, Sam, Charlotte, Rachel, Amelia, Sydney, Zach, Hunter, and Zoe. In addition, he is survived by 5 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Ava, Jacob Sash, and Lilah.
Services will be private.
