away peacefully in Rancho Mirage, CA. Born March 7, 1924, in Pittsburgh, PA; the 2nd
son of Julius and Sophia Steiner. Bud enlisted in the Army, late 1942, and became a Corporal 1 Air Force Pilot, Bombardier. Bud married the girl he told everyone at age 15 that he
was going to marry, in 1945 in New York City. Together they raised two children, Micky of San Jose, CA and Jill Messenger (Michael) of Sacramento, CA. In 1962, they moved to California to make a new life for their family. Bud worked in the hosiery business for over 50 years, ending his career with his own business. Upon retiring, they followed Bud’s dream and moved to Rancho Mirage where he loved the weather and the life style. Bud enjoyed tennis, golf, volunteering, doing the crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Bud will be remembered as a man who exuded his love of his family and friends and was a joy to all who knew him. Bud's family would like to deeply thank all the kind and loving people at Emeritus of Rancho Mirage and Stella and Amalia for caring so much and with such warmth for both Bud and Margie these past few years. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 11:00am, at Groman Eden
