Raymond Wikes

Raymond Wikes, age 90, of Newhall, California passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Ray is survived by his 2 Sons Michael (Wendy) and Bobby Wikes and his grandchildren, David, Marissa, and Sandy Wikes. He was preceded in death by his wife Laurie Wikes and his brother Jerry Wikes.

The Funeral service and burial for Ray will be held on Friday May 6, 2022, at 10:00 am pst at Eden Memorial Park 1500 Sepulveda Blvd, Mission Hills CA 91345

Ray was born September 20, 1931 in Natrona Heights Pennsylvania and grew up in the family grocery business in Brackenridge. He went on to open RAYs DELI in suburban Washington DC. He moved to California 30+ years ago and continued his career in the Deli business at the famous Nate and Als where he met Laurie, his wife. Both he and Laurie were enthusiastic patrons of the Los Angeles theater scene. He became an avid Dodgers and Lakers fan, but never lost his loyalty to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

An eternal light venue for Raymond will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Groman Eden Mortuary & Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills Estates, ca 91345.
