Alice Wilson Griffin

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Alice Griffin. A truly wonderful woman who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was a devoted wife, a loving stepmother, a cherished grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering support to her friends and her family will never be forgotten.

She was the beloved wife of Jerry Griffin, who shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories with her. She was a caring and devoted stepmother to Julie Cook, and she was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Janet Crump, whom she held close in her heart always and treated both as her own.

She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Josie and Ward Wilson.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends sharing stories and making new ones. She was a proud and loving grandmother that showed her endless encouragement to Tiffanie, Jeremy, Emily, Marley, Maddison, Lucas, and Taylor, and a delighted great-grandmother to Rylie, Cooper, Frank, Oliver, Makinley, Jamisynn, Mabreigh, Suttin, Dillon, Gabrielle, and Elijah.

Known for her sweet spirit, warm smile, love for the lord, and sense of humor, she was always there for those who needed her. Whether offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a bit of laughter to brighten someone’s day, she made everyone feel loved and valued.

Though her family’s hearts are heavy with loss, they find comfort knowing she is now in Heaven with the Lord and the loved ones who preceded her in death. She’s now watching over them with the same love she gave so freely throughout her life. Her legacy of kindness, strength, presence and devotion will live on through the many lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
