Christina Haigler

Heaven gained another angel on January 13, 2021 when Christina Nicole Haigler aka “Silly Goose” left her family and friends here on earth. Although she had many adversities, Christy is now free. She was born in Charlotte on October 10, 1989 to Ronnie and Michelle Haigler. Christy was happy and joyful and even with her struggles, she never complained. She had a beautiful smile and loved to make friends – she never met a stranger. Christy loved to color and make cards and spend time on her IPhone and IPad. Christy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Christy is predeceased by her grandparents, Duane Carriker, Hilton Haigler and Mildred Haigler. She is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Michelle Haigler, brothers, Daniel Haigler and Brian (Starr) Haigler and nieces and nephews, Blake, Jameson, Kayla, Kylie and Brock Haigler and her grandmother, Patsy Carriker.

The family would like to share their special appreciation to all the many nurses that helped to care for Christy over the years.

The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Friday, January 15 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

An outdoor service to celebrate Christy’s life will be held at Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. The service will be streamed on 1690 AM for a live broadcast for those in the church parking lot.
