Clara C. DiBernardo

Mrs. Clara Clawson Dibernardo, 90, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Brian Center in Monroe. Mrs. Dibernardo was born in Union County, September 8, 1925 the daughter of the late Edmond and Lula Richardson Clawson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Anthony “Tony” Dibernardo, her son: Gary Arllen Wallace, her grandson: Michael Wallace II, brothers: John H. Clawson and Worth Clawson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church, with services to celebrate her life beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter; Carol Tucker (James) of Lancaster S.C., sons; Michael Wallace (Shelia) of Monroe, Kenneth Wallace (Marlene) of Greenville N.C., grandchildren; Dusty Wallace Sr., Derrick Wallace, Gary Wallace, Kathy Royal, Desiree McNeil, Jessica Tucker, Joshua Tucker, Kristin Tucker and Lindsey Jones, 17 great grandchildren, sister; Doris Simpson (Ed) of Monroe, sister-in-law; Adelaide Clawson of Monroe.
