He was preceded in death by his father, Gustavo Morales. Derick is survived by his wife, Ashley Fay-Morales; his sons, Jevyn Morales and Jayce Morales; his daughter, Amyah Morales and his two sons in Guatemala, Javier Morales and Sebastian Morales; his mother, Margaret Batres; his sister, Vivian and his brothers, Gustavo, David, Juan and Jose.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate Derick's life will be held 6:00pm Thursday, June 13, 2019 in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the Morales family.
