She was born in Union County on May 23, 1937, daughter of the late Eugene and Birdie Morris. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Eric Griffin; her son, Tim Griffin and by her brother, Robert Wayne Morris.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Brice Griffin; her daughter, Luann Griffin Shaw; son-in-law, Joe Shaw; her grandchildren, Blake Ramsey, Kaitlin Cohn and husband Alex, Caroline Ramsey, Joey Shaw and Thomas Hodge; her nephews, Tommy Morris (Anne) and Kevin Morris and by her niece, Erika Teague.
