Mrs. Faye Stegall Simpson

Mrs. Faye Stegall Simpson, age 74 passed away Saturday March 20, 2010 in the Carillon Assisted Living in Indian Trail, NC.

Born August 6, 1935 in Union County daughter of the late Fred and Veda Stegall.

Mrs. Simpson was the founder of Simpson’s Bridal Shoppe and also worked as a certified nurse assistant at Union Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son Danny T. Simpson and one daughter Tammie G Simpson.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband of 56 years: William T. Simpson; one daughter Lynn S. Moore and husband Wally of Marshville; four grand children: Stacia Simpson of Clayton, Stephanie Dorton and spouse Jamie of Weddington, NC, Shelton Moore and spouse Joellen of Marshville, NC and Sean Moore and spouse Mandy of Richmond, KY; five great-grand children: Caleb, Nicholas and Zane Dorton, Edyn and Garrett Moore; two sisters: Shirley Pope and Lou Howell of Marshville, NC. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Simpson will be 2:00 PM Tuesday March 23, 2010 in the Philadelphia Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. B.W. Moore, Rev. Carroll Anthony and Rev. John D. Crain

with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
