Gail Parker Snead

She was born on June 4, 1949, to the late Everett and Marie Parker in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Gail resided in Monroe, North Carolina where she was a hairdresser for over 40 years.  She also enjoyed and was an avid shag dancer and line dancer. Gail especially loved her family and enjoyed the many family gatherings that were often spent together. 

Along with her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Parker and Jerry Parker; and sister, Rosa Haga.  She is survived by her son, Timmy Parker (Barbara); brother, Benny Parker (Tammy); grandchildren, Travis Deese, Timothy Parker (Stephanie Trouy), and Tyler Parker (Kelly Huffstickler); great-grandchildren, Easton Deese and Kasen Parker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street in Monroe, North Carolina.  A Celebration of Life for Gail will then follow immediately after the service in the McEwen Colonial Chapel at 1:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations can be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, North Carolina, 28110.
