Gary D Marler

He was born in Raleigh on February 25, 1955 to the late Luther and Lossie Marler.

Gary and his family moved to Florida at the age of 2 where he lived until he relocated from Punta Gorda to Indian Land with his wife Fran (Frances) in January of this year. They were active members of First Christian Church, Punta Gorda, FL

.

Gary spent a 35 year career with Universal Engineering Sciences in the Punta Gorda/Fort Myers Florida area. He was an avid bowler with numerous 300 games.

Gary enjoyed traveling with family and friends and was always game for the next “Road Trip”!

In addition to his parents, Gary is predeceased by his brother, Charles.

Gary is survived by his wife and best friend, Fran, children; Christina Pearson, Mindy Huelle (Trent), Barbara Arenal (Butch), Kenneth Dunn (Danielle) and Jennifer Adams (Jerry Pugh-deceased); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Kyleah, Caroline, Damien, Bailey, Reagan, Connor, Kolton and Chris.

He was the best Papa to his grandchildren and many others!

A service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held in Punta Gorda at a later date.
