She was born May 25, 2011 in Mecklenburg County, NC, the daughter of Mr. Jeffrey Dean Hood and Ms. Stephanie Jannelle Jaafar. She was preceded in death by uncle: Mr. Mitchell Hood; great grandmother: Mrs. Evelyn Helms.

Infant Imogen Riley Hood is survived by parents: Jeffrey Dean Hood and Stephanie Jannelle Jaafar of the home; grandmothers: Patricia Plyler and husband David of Waxhaw, NC, Debra Jaafar of Monroe, NC; grandfather: Alfred Hood of Fort Mill, SC; great grandfather: Rev. J.B. Helms of Waxhaw, NC; aunt: Amanda Cameron and husband Matt of Monroe, NC: uncle: Anthony “Scott” Hood and wife Heather of Waxhaw, NC; cousin: Braydon Hood of Waxhaw, NC.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Sunday July 17, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe.

Graveside funeral services for Infant Imogen Riley Hood will be 11:00 AM Monday July 18, 2011 in Lakeland Memorial Park, conducted by Mr. Anthony “Scott” Hood.
