

James Gregory Bumgarner, 78, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024. Born on April 14, 1946, in North Miami Beach, Florida, James lived a life full of dedication, love, and adventure.
James was a skilled welder, known for his meticulous craftsmanship and strong work ethic. His career spanned over four decades, during which he built not just structures but also a legacy of hard work and integrity.
Outside of his professional life, James had a passion for fishing, traveling, camping, and riding motorcycles. He spent countless hours by the water, finding solace and joy in the simplicity of casting a line. His love for travel took him to various parts of the country and beyond, creating cherished memories with his family and friends. Many weekends were spent camping under the stars, enjoying the beauty of nature and the company of loved ones. James was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast, finding freedom and exhilaration on the open road.
James is survived by his devoted wife, Connie, and their three sons: James (Martina), Gregory, and Daniel (Danielle). He was a proud grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.
James's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends.
