Jerry Dale Richardson, 72, of High Point passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital. Dale was born May 13, 1944 in Charlotte NC, and resided in Indian Trail most of his life. He worked as a cosmetologist for over 40 years in several locations including, Gastonia, Indian Trail, Charlotte and High Point, he retired in 2006. Dale was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Richardson and Marjorie O. Richardson Summers. Survivors include his brother, Roger Richardson and wife Kathy, nieces Leslie Weisman (Joey), Lindsay Medaloni, nephews Mark Richardson (Elizabeth), Lee Richardson (Chelsea), eight grand nieces and nephews all living in the Triad. In addition, he is survived by his aunt and uncle, Ruth and Wendell Stegall of Monroe NC and numerous cousins and many special friends. Services to celebrate Dale’s life will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the McEwen Colonial Chapel in Monroe, visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the Funeral Service, interment will follow in the Indian Trail Cemetery.
