Mary Juanita Purser, 80, of Monroe passed away peacefully on February 13, 2022. Juanita was born and raised in Union County and enjoyed the outdoors and farm life. She was the only daughter of the late Boyce Lee Price Sr. and Mary Lea Price and she was her mother’s caregiver after her father’s death.
In addition to her parents, Juanita is predeceased by her brothers, Boyce Lee Price Jr. and Joseph Frank Price. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 59 years, Henry Eugene Purser; her sons, Byron Purser, Tony Purser, Brent Purser and Tim (Shanda) Purser; grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Jared, Jenna, Riley, Heather, Jackson, Harrison and Alex and her brother, Joe Neil Price.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 18 , 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Shiloh Advent Christian Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
