Margaret Privette Moore, age 79, of Indian Trail, passed away on March 17, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Union County to the late Louis and Vadie Privette on June 30, 1936. Margaret loved reading, crossword puzzles and most of all being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Moore; her son, Thomas Reid Moore; and her brother, Nathan Privette. Margaret is survived by two sons, Billy Moore Jr. and Steven Moore; two brothers, Robert Privette and Charles Privette; four sisters, Lula Moore, Carolyn Linker, Joyce Deason and Linda Morris; three grandchildren, Larin Moore, Emily Moore and Matthew Moore; and her sister-in-law, Patsy Autry.
Margaret’s family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe with the funeral service starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow the service in Lakeland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Union County and Victory Junction
