Mrs. Nellie Eva Belk Kimbrough, age 93 passed away Friday July 1, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe, NC.
She was born February 26, 1918 in Union County, NC, the daughter of the late Mr. Washington Lafayette Belk and the late Mrs. Virginia Lee Belk Belk. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Raymond James Kimbrough on April 6, 1996.
Mrs. Kimbrough is survived by two sons: Ronald Kimbrough, Vick Kimbrough and wife Shirley, all of Monroe, NC; four grandchildren: Ronnie Kimbrough, Carlene Kimbrough, Amanda Kimbrough, and Sarah Kimbrough, all of Monroe, NC; two great grandchildren: Jake Kimbrough, Rebekah Kimbrough, both of Monroe, NC.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Tuesday July 5, 2011 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Altan Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kimbrough will be 2:00 PM Tuesday July 5, 2011 in the Altan Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. William Wiley, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
