Ney Clayton Price Jr.

Mr. Clayton Price, 63, went home to be with his Lord and savior on January 2, 2013 from Hospice of Union County. Clayton was born July 18, 1949 in Union County N.C., son of the late Ney Clayton Price Sr. and the late Willie Mae Simpson Price Rushing; he was also preceded in death by a daughter: Bethany Lynn Price. Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2012 in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, with Reverend Rick Stancil officiating, and interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife: Gloria Jean Elliott Price of the home, son: Christopher Price of Monroe, Daughter: Melissa Price of Monroe, Father: Troy Rushing of Monroe, Grandchildren: Lindsay Brook Smith, Drew Trull and Elliott Rollins, Step Daughter: Wendy Rollins and husband Greg of Matthews N.C., Step Son: Tony Harris and wife Nancy of Georgia, Brothers, Eddie Rushing and wife Carol of Monroe, David Rushing and wife Linda of Indian Trail N.C., Sisters: Judy Tarlton and Karen Greene and husband Nelson both of Monroe.
