Nina E. Snead

Born on September 29, 1947, to the late Euell Baxter and Nina Lucille Cole, Nina was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She later moved to Monroe, North Carolina where she was a member of Lee Park Baptist Church. One of her many enjoyments in life was vacationing at Sunset Beach with her family.

Along with her parents, Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Snead; and her brothers, Harold Cole and James Dixon Cole. She is survived by her children, Tammy Rogers (Ed) of Monroe, North Carolina, Tesha Newman of Salisbury, North Carolina, Mark Felts (Francisca) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Matthew Felts of Salisbury, North Carolina; grandchildren, Sarah Furr (Cody), Joshua Newman (Kristin), Heather Newman, Regan Timmer, Tori Jimenez, and Darren Jimenez; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Cole (Lynne) of Mint Hill, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina.
