Peggy C. Greene, 90, of Monroe passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 17, 2020 and is now home with the Lord. Peggy loved window shopping, spending time on the phone as well as camping, square dancing and Bluegrass music and festivals. Back in the day, Peggy was known on the CB radio as “Yellow Bird Dog.” She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that knew her.
Peggy is predeceased by her first husband, Arnold Robert Bivens. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Bobby Greene; her children, Bobby (Kathy) Bivens, Pam Bivens Moore, Debbie (Don) Hall, Sheri Miles, and Robin Stroud and her grandchildren, Michaela Pope, Kristen Guthrie, Kevin Hobbs, Caroline Stroud, Catherine Stroud, James Bivens, Lisa Sullivan and BJ Sullivan.
The Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church on Sunday, December 20 at 2:30 pm. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that those that attend the funeral please wear a mask
A private burial will be held at Sharon Memorial Park.
