Phillip Eugene Stanley

Phillip Eugene Stanley, II, age 52 of Monroe, NC, passed away suddenly November 21, 2021.

Phillip was the beloved husband and best friend of 28 years to Susan (nee Elswick); Loving dad to Tracie (Ret. TSgt Michael Johnson, USAF), Capt. Corey Futrell, USAF (Kathy), and Joshua Futrell (Michelle); Fun loving Pappy to Jacob Burgess (Bryn), Brennen, Mathew and Adeline Johnson, Ansley and Finley Futrell, Ashlynn, Kailyn and Josslyn Futrell; Son of the late Phillip Stanley and Freda Brown; Brother of Iris Moore, Beverly Browning, and late Robin Harris, Cindy, Laura and Clinton; Son in law, Brother in law, uncle, and special friend to many.

Phillip loves his family above everything and would do anything for his wife, children and his grandchildren who he adored. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. Phillip is the boss of his smoke pit. He is a lifelong Steelers fan. He always has a smile on his face and a joke or a comment to get a laugh. His radio always on the only music there is Classic Rock and twirling around his Susie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital - Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place. Memphis, TN 38105. If you mail a check, please include the name of the individual that the gift is in memory of.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Saturday 27 November 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526.
