Born on October 21, 1967 to the late John Jefferson and Eva Maxine Wilson, Scottie was a true family man, deeply devoted to his wife and children. Known for his unwavering love and protection, he was the best husband and father anyone could ask for. He was a man who never hesitated to help someone in need and was always there for anyone. With 36 years of dedication in the heating and air business and the last 20 years with his Helms Heating and Air family, Scott was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet. He had a gift for making people laugh and smile, spreading happiness wherever he went. Scott’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him and his impact on their lives will never be forgotten. Scott’s life was a testament to love, hard work, and generosity. He leaves behind a family and community that will forever be grateful for his presence.
Along with his parents, Scottie is preceded in death by his bonus father, Harold Hurst; sister, Debbie Cook; brother, John Henry Wilson; and brothers in law, Randy Boatwright and Mike Cook.
