He was born in Atlanta, GA in 1947 to Amos and Louise Spivey. David was a member of the 173 Airborne and a Vietnam veteran. He retired from General Motors and began a 25-year dedication to prison ministry. He obtained his Master of Theology and was a member of First Assembly of God in Montgomery, AL.
David is preceded in death by his father Amos Spivey, mother Louise Spivey, brother Ed Spivey, brother Dennis Spivey, and daughter Jennifer Spivey. David is survived by his wife Jeanette Spivey, daughter Paige Zukowski (Will), brother Charlie Spivey (Susan), brother Tim Spivey (Pam), grandson Miles Zukowski, and granddaughter Mia Zukowski.
Visitation will be beginning at 12:30PM, following a service at 1:30PM with the funeral immediately to follow at First Assembly of God 135 Bell Rd. Montgomery, AL 36117
