Born on March 20, 1963, in Montgomery, Alabama, Andy was the cherished son of Ronald F. Martin and Ruby A. Martin. He later became the devoted husband of Kimberly whom he shared 35 wonderful years of marriage built on love, laughter, and an unwavering partnership.
A loving and dedicated husband, Andy was a source of strength, warmth, and steady encouragement. His gentle spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew him. He was both a trusted confidant and steadfast partner, always placing family first and offering support through life’s triumphs and challenges. Andy’s family, especially his children and grandchildren, were his greatest joy in life. Whatever activity or event they were involved in, he was going to be there.
Andy was widely respected for his integrity, hard work, and kindness. He spent the majority of his career in the information technology field and was an owner and President of Square Root Interactive, Inc. for more than 17 years. He worked for several other companies throughout his life before retiring to devote more time to his family and personal interests.
Andy had a deep passion for cars, especially British sports cars. As a longtime active member of the Montgomery British Car Club, he found joy in restoring, driving, and sharing his enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Makenzie R. Martin. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Kimberly; his son, Dylan T. Martin (Mary Frances); his three beautiful grandchildren, Libby, Bea, and Brooks; his sister, Sharon Martin (Ricky); and a host of extended family members and lifelong cherished friends.
