He is survived by his wife, Barbara M. Samuels; children, Laura McQueen of Asheville, NC, Patricia (Paul) Osburn of Cumming, GA and Wayne (Barbara Troiani) Samuels of Alpharetta, GA., Shawn and Dee Hazelip of Deatsville, AL and Todd and Lisa Williams of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Rebecca McQueen, Ashley (Steve) Young, Samuel Downey, Shelby Hazelip, Kaley Weir and Emma Williams; siblings, Carlton (Irene) Samuels of Wisconsin and Susan Pastorek of Illinois and 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
Arthur retired after 33 years of service as Vice President of International Sales from J. R. Smith Manufacturing Company of Montgomery, AL.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 430 Antioch Lane, Pike Road, AL. Funeral services will follow in the Parish Hall at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Montgomery Area Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels Program, 115 E. Jefferson St., Montgomery, AL 36104 or the charity of your choice.
