

Dolores Barrow, age 58, passed from this life and into the arms of her Savior on December 9, 2017 after a prolonged illness. She was born on April 17, 1959, in Montgomery, Alabama, where she lived her entire life. She was the daughter of Kyle and Dolores Renfroe, and is preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Kyle Renfroe, Jr. Dolores was a devoted mother and wife. She almost always presented a smile, and loved helping those in need.
She is survived by two children, Gregory Scott Clark (Kelly Clark), of Flint, Texas, and Whitney Michelle Clark, of Montgomery, Alabama. She is the grandmother to two grandchildren, Malachi Broaden, and Kingston Jones. She is also survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Benjamin Warren Barrow of Montgomery, Alabama.
She was a graduate of St. James High School, and attended Auburn University Montgomery.
Dolores was one of John Caddell’s original employees at Caddell Construction Co., Inc., where she worked for 16 years prior to retiring in 1999. She became a volunteer after her retirement from Caddell, and served as President of the PTA at Taylor Road Academy, volunteer receptionist at Baptist East Hospital, Methodist Hospital of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and in various service organizations.
As her illness progressed Dolores became a participant in the Respite Ministry at First United Methodist Church. The family extends heartfelt appreciation and love to Daphne Johnston, Laura Selby, and the many volunteers who added laughter and joy to Dolores’ life while she attended Respite from 2013 to 2016. She felt that she was helping others there, but truly they were helping her.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery, Alabama, where she was married and baptized by Dr. Jay Wolf.
Visitation will be at the Alabama Heritage chapel at 10:00 on December 14, 2017, with Service following at 11:00. The family invites attendees to a reception celebrating her life at the Drury Inn on Eastern Boulevard following the service.
