

He graduated from Jesup High School, lettering in sports. He enlisted into the Army and served four years. He then joined the Air Force where he retired after 23 years of service as Chief Master Sergeant. Following his military career he was in Civil Service for 20 years. Don was a GS13 and served as the Automated Data System Manager, he managed the software for the CAMS program which tracked the maintenance requirements for all Air Force planes in the world. While he was in the military he attended Troy University and earned his Bachelors of Business degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Mr. Luloff was a very intelligent, witty, and humorous man who loved to encourage others and enjoyed mentoring as well. Don loved sports, especially baseball which he played during his younger years. He coached little league baseball for many years and even coached a state championship team. In later years he considered golf as his second job and was proud to say he had three hole in ones and one eagle during his golfing career. Don decided he wanted to be able to help others with taxes so he became certified through H&R Block classes; he organized the first NATP in Alabama and served as President. Don attended Frazer UMC and previously served as Treasurer at Messiah Lutheran Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Erna Luloff; sisters, Delores Luloff Blad and Betty Luloff Peterson; and brother, Erwin Luloff. Don is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kathleen O. Luloff, who he referred to as his “CPA, Cutie Pie Always”; his children, Beverly Jean Eason, Donald Everett Luloff, Jr., Michael Christopher Luloff (Jennifer), and William Edward Hansen; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his siblings, Melvin Luloff (Nancy), Norman Luloff, and Susan Luloff.
The family will receive friends at Frazer UMC on Friday, March 10, 2107 from 9:00 to 10:00 am. A Celebration of Don’s Life will begin at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association (Donation Processing Center, PO Box 7000, Albert Lea, MN 56007-8001) or the American Heart Association (PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692).
