So saddened by the passing of Mr Rabren. Though I never knew him personally I cherish his daughter Debbie, who's love and kindness is a direct reflection of wonderful parents. I know he will be missed.

Mr. Rabren hired me as a bag boy at the new Piggly Wiggly in Wetumpka in 1958 when I was 15. It was a big deal for me, at 50 cents/hour. Mr. Rabren was a great mentor, always very firm but very fair. I was subsequently promoted to cashier at $1.00/hour!! Lotto in 1958 for a 15 year old. I saw him over the years, mainly when I worked for Blount, Inc. and we lived in Montgomery and shopped at Super Foods on Woodley Road. He was always fun to talk with and he was always interested in me and my family. Very fine person who got me started and to whom I was always indebted. Please accept our heartfelt condolences to all of his family. You all should take great pride in the good life he lived and the positive influence he had even on bag boys like me! Sincerely, Joe McInnes, Lake Martin
