

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marie Belsterling, his siblings Ralph, Herb, and Marie (Hank) Bronder, his daughter-in-law Pam Belsterling, and his grandson Blake Wedgworth.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Werder Belsterling, children Brian Belsterling (Mandy), Linda Anderson (Charlie), and Karen Wedgworth (Morgan), sisters-in-law Joann and Barbara Belsterling and many nieces and nephews. He was proud grandfather to thirteen beloved grandchildren: Andy (Jennifer), Austin, Allison, Taylor (Sydney), Carrie, and Will Belsterling; Roscoe (Lexi), Charlie (Jenny), Sterling (Frances), and Brian Anderson; Davis Wedgworth (Jenna) and Maggie Roberts (Matthew). He was also blessed with twelve great-grandchildren (so far!).
After serving in the United States Navy, Howard continued a career in the printing industry. He, his wife and young children moved from Pittsburgh to Montgomery in 1966 with Paragon Press. In 1970 Howard opened The Copy Center of Montgomery, a business which he owned and operated for more than thirty years. Howard always enjoyed his work and the many customers and friends to whom he provided service. He was always thankful for Montgomery and loved this great city! After retirement, he and Marge traveled the United States by motorhome. Howard especially enjoyed the mountains of Wyoming and visiting friends and relatives along the way.
Howard was a longtime faithful parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 15, at 11:00 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church 3870 Atlanta Highway Montgomery, AL with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. There will be a lunch reception at the St. Bede Family Life Center following mass. Graveside burial service will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
