James C. “Jimmy” Combs, 80 passed away on January 31st, 2018. Jimmy was a State Farm agent for over 30 years, after retirement he was able to enjoy his hobbies a little more which included, hunting, fishing, and being outside in nature. He was a longtime member of Eastmont Baptist Church. Jimmy is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Faye Combs; his daughter Kim Combs; as well as five sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his sister Bobbye Penney and her husband Jack; his faithful four legged friend Lilly Tilly “Lucy”, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 10:30 am at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
