Jordan Brooke Northington

Jordan Brooke Northington, age 20, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Guy Brooks. She is survived by her parents, Jay and Kim Northington; her sister, Peyton; her grandparents, Mary Helen and Sherwood McCord and Jerry and Pat Northington; her uncle Bryan Northington; her aunt and uncle Nick and Kathy Autrey and her cousins, Mary Kathryn Autrey, Beth Anne Autrey and George Nick, Lee and Amelia Autrey. Jordan was a member of Chi Omega Sorority at Auburn University and active in the Make a Wish Foundation. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00 on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Vaughn Park Church of Christ. A Celebration of Jordan’s life will be at 1:00p.m. after visitation at the church. Services will continue at graveside at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. At Jordan’s request, PLEASE WEAR BRIGHT COLORED CLOTHING to the visitation and service. Active pallbearers will be Mason Camp, Jarrod Jones, Brandon Ritter, Christopher Pierce, Jake Nummy, Wesley Nummy, David Parker and Kyle Sanderson. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Children’s Hospital for their care of Jordan. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham or The Make a Wish Foundation or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jordan would like to give a big “WAR EAGLE”.
