Laurie William (Bill) Lorenzo, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his daughter on his birthday February 16, 2017. Bill was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Canada. He was a member of Frazer United Methodist Church. Bill was a brilliant and highly respected contractor and civil engineer, retired as Sr. Vice President of Blount Brothers International. Bill was a devoted, loving father, with his family and dogs being the love of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, all of Niagara Falls, Canada. Bill leaves to cherish his memories, his loving daughters, Linda Bowman (Ron), Montgomery, AL; Lori Lorenzo, Prattville, AL; Lisa Kenady (Randy), Wetumpka, AL; four grandchildren, Dustin Woodley, Elisabeth Anne Bowman, Lauren Jenks, and Craig Kenady; also nine great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and his dog “Lucky”. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Frazer United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
